The Huaguang Portable Electric Iron has successfully transformed its 40-year professional ironing technology, which was originally exported to Europe and America, into a portable product with both aesthetic value and user experience through systematic industrial design and brand visual upgrade. After the renovation, the product quickly gained market recognition with its exquisite appearance design and outstanding ironing performance. Huaguang Electric Appliances has been honored as one of the "Top Ten Electric Iron Export Enterprises in China" for several consecutive years, and its products are sold in 150+ countries and regions around the world. In 2023, the company's output value reached 300 million yuan. Huaguang Electric Appliances has obtained and applied as many as 500+ national and international patents, and its portable electric iron has won the German iF Design Award. The brand has also received authoritative honors such as the "China Famous Trademark" and the deputy chairperson unit for drafting the national performance standards of steam ironing cleaning machines. Its brand "Huaguang HG" has been successfully rated as an "Export Brand of Zhejiang Province". Huaguang Electric Appliances has formed a large-scale production capacity of 2.5 million industrial irons and 1 million ironing machines per year, with a sales network covering 31 provinces and cities across the country, and 800+ sales stores.

This project is to create an industrial design and brand visual system for the Huaguang Portable Electric Iron. The core objective is to help this nearly 40-year-old national brand establish a product identity that combines professional feel and modern aesthetics in a market where ironing products are highly homogenized. We started from Huaguang's brand gene of "always committed to the research of ironing technology", and established the design direction of "professional technology + exquisite aesthetics". At the industrial design level, the team adopted the improved long-term export European and American electric ironing technology and made localized adjustments based on domestic users' usage habits and aesthetic concepts. The product features a foldable design, is small in size and does not occupy much space, solving the pain point of inconvenient storage of traditional irons. In terms of product appearance, Huaguang pays attention to the exquisite product appearance and humanized design details, embellishing consumers' lives from the smallest aspects. Products such as the handheld ironing machine T02 have received national appearance design patent recognition. In terms of appearance design, intelligent control technology, core module research, and ergonomic research, all have reached industry-leading levels. Through this design system that combines technical accumulation, aesthetic pursuit, and user experience, the Huaguang Portable Electric Iron has successfully upgraded from a traditional household appliance to a portable ironing product with strong visual recognition, outstanding performance, and international quality, allowing the nearly 40-year-old national brand to rejuvenate in the new era with a brand new vitality.

本次项目是为华光便携式电熨斗打造工业设计与品牌视觉体系。核心目标是在熨烫产品同质化严重的市场环境中，帮助这一拥有近40年历史的民族品牌建立兼具专业感与现代审美的产品识别。我们从华光“自始至终致力于熨烫技术的研究”的品牌基因出发，确立了 “专业技术+精致美学” 的设计方向。在工业设计层面，团队沿用了改进后长期出口欧美的电熨斗技术，针对国内用户的使用习惯和审美观念进行了本土化调整。产品采用可折叠设计，体积小巧不占地，解决了传统熨斗收纳不便的痛点。在产品外观上，华光注重精致的产品外观与人性化的设计细节，从细微之处点缀消费者的生活，手持挂烫机T02等多款产品均荣获国家外观设计专利认定。外观设计、智能控制技术、核心模块研究、人体工程学研究等方面均达到了行业领先水平。通过这一兼具技术积淀、美学追求与用户体验的设计体系，华光便携式电熨斗成功从一款传统家用电器升级为具有强视觉识别、卓越性能与国际化品质的便携熨烫产品，让近40年的民族品牌在新时代焕发出全新的生命力。
